Activities for kids

The Woodland Trust has set up a website called Nature Directives and it is an excellent way to educate and inspire children about nature with over 1000 free activities, games and downloads for schools and groups. Children will also receive stickers and poster which will entice children to take part and learn about nature. 

South Lanarkshire Council also have educational packs on the general countryside and local country parks. These packs can be found on the South Lanarkshire Council website.

Scottish National Heritage also have educational cards for children that are full of fun facts which you could use you are outdoors to see what you can find. Please visit Scottish National Heritage for more information.
